| Lead clinician Karen Pearson began her relationship with her husband Nick during her awakening, Nick helping to guide her through her experience. During this time they moved to New Zealand and started a family, it was after the birth of their first child that Karen experienced post natal depression. Not trusting the adverse effects of using a medication on herself or her newborn child forced Karen to reflect on her trust in the true healing nature of nursing.
