COVID Antiviral / Immune Support


First and foremost, eat a healthy diet ideally organic / spray free or home grown. This needs to be rich in vegetables (3-5 serves), fruit (1-2 serves), ideally activated (soaked and / or sprouted) nuts, seeds, cereal and legumes, white meat (chicken, fish), sea food (oily fish and sea vegetables such as sea weed), healthy fats (olive, coconut, nut and seed oils), fermented foods, eggs (free range) plenty of water – baseline is 30mls/kg.

Minimise / eliminate sugar, GMOs, processed foods, alcohol, caffeine, allergenic foods. Remove dairy even if not allergic as dairy is mucous forming. Minimise wheat and cereals, these are inflammatory, wheat in particular is, especially if it is not organic, often sprayed with Roundup prior to harvesting, this is a major disruptor of the digestive and endocrine system and has been linked with cancer.

If feeling unwell you still need nutrition, eat little and often and healthy food, ideally liquid foods if you have lost your appetite as these are so much easier for the body to digest. Eat foods such as bone broths, soups and vegetable based smoothies, these are nutrient dense foods that support healing.

You need to be supporting immune function and liver detoxification, so foods rich in the following nutrients:-

This is a tea I make up and is pretty potent, it contains herbs that support the body systems most effected by covid. Not the best taste but does the trick and can be sweetened with honey.

Antiviral / Immune support tea

Mugwort (Artemisis vulgaris), Hawthorn (Crataegus monogyna), Gingko (Gingko biloba), Echinacea (Echinacea purpurea), Elecampane (Inula helenium), Olive (Olea europaea), Milk thistle (Silybum marianum), Dandelion leaf (Taraxacum officinale), Nettle Urtica dioca, Ashwagandha (Withania smonifera), Ginger (Zingiber officinale).

2 teaspoons per of boiling water, infused for at least 10 minutes, drink a cup three times a day. Alternately put a pot on (6 teaspoon spoons) a drink throughout the day.

Sweet Annie is a member of the Artemisia family (Artemisia annua) and also known as Chinese wormwood - this herb has been used with great success in African countries as a treatment against the illness. Sweet Annie is also known for it's treatment of the heart, immune system, achy joints fevers and Malaria.

Mugwort is also a member of the Artemisia family, cousin of Chinese wormwood. Mugwort has similar properties to Artemisia annua, with more of a focus on reproductive health.

Hawthorn this herb supports cardiac function, it strengthens the heart and heart muscle. Essential considering the risks of cardiac problems associated with the covid injection.

Gingko is a herb that supports peripheral circulation, it is great for supporting memory and also has the property of thinning blood as it is an anticoagulant.

Dandelion this is a potent herb that should be eaten as part of the daily diet. It supports, liver, pancreatic and kidney function. Dandelion leaf is particularly support of the kidneys and pancreas, therefore also support cardiac and blood pressure. Recent research is suggesting this may be helpful against spike proteins.

Echinacea this herb is one of the most potent herbs to support immune function. It also support in rectifying cell dysplasia, helping the cell to return to it’s natural form.

Elecampane the main properties of this herb support lung function across a range of issues, it soothes the respiratory tract whilst reducing coughing, ideal for chronic lung conditions as well as coughs, colds and influenza. It also supports gastric, cardiac and immune function.

Olive – this is a powerful antimicrobial also having potent antiviral properties. It’s antioxidant properties support healing and recovery. It also has hypotensive properties, meaning it aids in lowering blood pressure.

Milk thistle as indicated above this is a prime source of glutathione, which support liver function. In combination with vitamin C this also helps to open the lungs and improve their function. Potent antioxidant.

Nettle is a potent herb, a blood purifier that is also known for it’s antihistamine properties. Helpful in cleaning the blood and reducing reactions.

Ashwagandha is an Ayurvedic herb that is a powerful adaptogen, this herb also supports the immune system as well as supporting cognitive function, has the ability to help neurochemical to find balance.

Ginger the synergist of the group, the presence of ginger increases the efficacy of all the other herbs present. Ginger is a warming herb. That reduces inflammation and supports digestion.



Antiviral Immune Support Tea

I make a blend of this tea at my own clinic as I have my own dispensary and grow a significant amount of my own herbs. Medicinal herbs can be hard to come by unless you grow them, know where they grow and can safely forage them or have access to a wholesale practitioner.

Additionally you can take Golden paste, this is a powerful anti-inflammatory that supports many systems of the body. There are two recipes one containing Turmeric, black pepper, coconut oil and water. The other recipe also includes ginger, cinnamon and cayenne. Turmeric (Curcuma longa) – benefits, supports arthritis relief, pain relief, cardiovascular health, blood sugar regulation, immunity, wound healing and is a powerful antiinflammatory.

Ginger (Zingiber officinale) – benefits, supports digestion, immunity, infection relief, pain and blood sugar levels. Cinnamon (Cinnamomum verum/cassia) – benefits, support health due to high levels of antioxidants, anti-inflammatory, blood sugar regulation, infection relief, candida relief and allergies.

Cayenne (Cayenne annum) – benefits, support digestion, relieves migraine pain, weight loss, anti-irritant, joint and nerve pain, boosts metabolism, immune system.

Black Pepper (Piper nigrum) – support digestion, weight loss, infection control, increases bioavailability of other foods, improves cognitive health.



This is useful for a whole range of conditions as indicated above by the properties of the ingredients as well as head aches and inflammation as a whole.
